Paytm HDFC Credit Card is specially designed to cater to the needs of Paytm users. This card can be applied by Paytm users on the app itself. This card is offered in partnership with HDFC Bank. This card can be accessed both online and offline. Once the PIN is generated, the card can be used to make payments at any merchant establishment that accepts VISA payments.   • Get a cashback of 3% on purchases made on Paytm, such as recharges, paying utility bills, booking movies, etc., a maximum of up to INR 500 per calendar month.
  • Get a cashback of 2% on all other select Paytm spends with a maximum capping of up to INR 500 per calendar month.
  • Get a cashback of 1% on all other retail Spending with a maximum capping of INR 1000 per calendar month.
  • Get up to 4 complimentary add-on cards.
  • Register your card with SmartPay, i.e. a utility bill payment service of HDFC Bank, to ensure timely and convenient bill payments.
  • In case of loss/ theft of your card, the same shall be reported on an immediate basis to the 24/7 customer support. There is no liability for fraudulent transactions once the loss has been reported.
  • Get a waiver of 1% on fuel surcharge on a minimum transaction value of INR 400 and a maximum value of INR 5000. The maximum waiver amount is INR 250 per statement cycle.
  • Get a Paytm First Membership.
  • Get a cashback of 1% on INR 10000 spent a maximum of up to INR 100 per month.
  • With the HDFC Lifetime Free Credit Card, one can get a waiver of fees on INR 30,000 spent within the first 90 days. Also, get a waiver on renewal fees when INR 50,000 are spent within a 12-month period.

How to Activate Paytm HDFC Credit Card?

HDFC credit card holders are required to activate their credit cards within 37 days from the card’s opening date. In case the credit card is not activated by the modes mentioned below, the credit card account will have to be closed by the bank as per the ‘Master Direction – Credit and Debit Card – Issuance and Conduct Directions, 2022’ dated April 21, 2022, realised by Reserve Bank of India (RBI).

Setting Up Credit Card PIN

    • Through IVR:
    1. The card holders are required to call IVR No 1860 266 0333 to set their 4-digit credit card PIN. 
    2. Enter the credit card number.
    3. Validate the same with the help of OTP received on the registered mobile number.
    4. Now, set the desired PIN.
    Via Internet Banking
    1. Log into the internet banking.
    2. Click the tab “Cards”.
    3. Click on the tab “Change PIN”.
    4. Now, set your desired PIN. (available only for customers holding savings/salary/current accounts)

    Enable the Contactless, Online, and International Transactions:

      • Through MyCards: 
      1. Open the official website of HDFC Bank, i.e.  Mycards.hdfcbank.com.
      2. Login with the help of OTP.
      3. Link your credit card.
      4. Go to the tab “Card Control” to enable online, international, and contactless transactions.
      • Via WhatsApp Banking:
      1. Firstly, save a number, i.e. 7070022222.
      2. Then, send an SMS “Manage My Credit Card” to enable online, international, and contactless transactions.
      • Via Eva:

      To interact with Eva’s chat assistant, firstly, choose your preferred language to go ahead.

      1. Through Credit Card Usage:

      To activate the credit card, it can be used for at least 1 online or POS transaction.

      1. Through SmartPay Registration:

      Add Billers to the credit card and then register for SmartPay with the help of standing instructions on the card.
